Define the task first
The written proposal identifies the task location, objective, steps, access arrangements, evidence or reporting format, timing assumptions, fees and any separate outside costs. If a point is unclear, ask us to clarify it before agreeing. Travel, goods, freight, taxes and other third-party fees are included only when expressly stated.
Access and authority
You are responsible for providing accurate instructions and any necessary introductions, permissions or collection authority. We do not impersonate you, enter private premises without permission, access private records without authority, or promise the cooperation of another party. We may decline or pause work when required permission or safe access is unavailable.
Changes and unforeseen conditions
Additional stops, different checks, new questions or extra deliverables may change the time and cost. We discuss and agree any additional paid work before carrying it out. If conditions prevent the agreed task, we explain the issue and discuss an alternative, a reduced scope or cancellation.
Reports and limitations
The handover reports what was done or observed within the agreed scope. Information supplied by another party should be distinguished from direct observations, and material access or evidence limits should be stated. A visit or check is not a certification, laboratory test, legal opinion, audit or guarantee unless an appropriately qualified service is separately identified and agreed.
Questions about the handover
Contact us promptly if the handover appears incomplete or contains an error. Identify the part of the agreed scope concerned so we can review it and discuss an appropriate remedy. The agreed proposal and applicable mandatory rights govern the assignment.
